A big well done to our Micro coaches on completing their Coaching Essentials through in Glasgow yesterday. This shows the commitment of our coaches have to expanding their rugby knowledge so they can continue to deliver first class coaching sessions for our teams.

The Coaching Essentials course aims to equip coaches with practical tools to enhance their coaching, covering 3 key areas:

1. How to create a positive learning environment where all players are valued and the aim is to provide high levels of activity, fun and enjoyment.
2. Developing game understanding and skills through a game-based approach to training.
3. Developing individual players skills and techniques through a player centred approach.
