Livingston RFC U15 welcomed Dunfermline RFC U15 to Almond Park for what was their 3rd Scottish Rugby's Mitsubishi Galant Conference league game of the season. and their 2nd at home.

It was a lovely sunny day and perfect conditions for a game of rugby. The game was to be 3 20-minute sessions.

Livingston started the game strongly with some excellent defence and some very good counter rucking which laid the platform for the team to play on the front foot with some very good attacking rugby. Livingston opened the scoring and did not look back from there. 4 tries and 3 conversions without reply the score at the end of the 1st 3rd was Livingston 20 Dunfermline 0.

The 2nd 3rd was very much the same as the 1st with Livingston continuing to pressure the Dunfermline team although not always having their own way and Dunfermline would have surly scored if it was not for some strong defence and some great cover tackles. 6 converted tries without reply meant the score going into the 3rd and final 3rd was Livingston 68 Dunfermline 0

The 3rd and final 3rd continued the pattern but despite the scoreline, Dunfermline continued to try to play some rugby and challenge. They showed great character. As had been the case several times throughout the game they got to within 5 meters of the try line and mistakes were made or Livingston's defence remained resolute. 6 tries and 5 conversions were scored in this 3rd. The final score was Livingston 108 Dunfermline 0.

Try scorers were Jude Edwards, Matthew Hill, and Dean Kinghorn all with 4 tries each and Jamie Wilson, Cameron Day, Aaron Steel, Luke Mullen, and Murray Grant all scoring 1.

Conversions were kicked by Jamie Wilson who was excellent throughout slotting over some difficult kicks as well as some great defensive work whilst managing the backline admirably and was awarded man of the match along with Hayden Aston who at scrum half was given the platform by the forwards to demonstrate some excellent decision making when distributing the ball and finding gaps and exploiting them as well as when called upon to do so getting involved in every aspect of the game in order to keep the forward momentum up.
